Kunskapens Hus is the local school for adult learners in the municipality of Jokkmokk. At Kunskapens Hus people at different levels of education and in different fields of study, merge in a friendly, modern, and creative environment. The study centre is accessible from early morning to late night so that students may study at hours that fit their social life. And due to modern technique and our web based learning management system Fronter, many students are not physically present at all in order to participate in many of our courses.

Kunskapens Hus offers:

• courses at primary and secondary school level for adults
• different programmes and courses at university level
• advanced vocational education training (The Power Line Technician Programme)
• Swedish language courses for immigrants 
• commissioned education at the request of both local and regional companies and organisations 
• conference- and video conference facilities
